Do I need to book?
At weekends, yes: call us on +33 5 36 49 52 18. On weekdays you’ll often find a table as you arrive.
How much should I budget?
Allow €30 to €50 a head with a juice and a coffee. The Belles Matinées brunch is ordered for the whole table.
Until what time is brunch served?
All day: until 3pm on weekdays and 4pm at weekends. The kitchen takes last orders half an hour before.
Can I bring the kids?
Please do: we have high chairs, and Maddi is happy to make a small stack of pancakes.
Is there anything without meat?
Yes, most of it: the avocado toast, the scrambled eggs with tomatoes, the green bowl, the fruit bowls and every sweet dish. For a vegan brunch, let us know when you book.
And gluten-free?
The eggs can be served on gluten-free bread, and the buckwheat pancakes can be made gluten-free on request. Tell us when you book.
What about allergies?
Allergen information for every dish is available. Tell us about any allergy when you book and the kitchen will plan for it.
How do I get there, and where do I park?
We’re two streets from the Côte des Basques, ten minutes by car from the station. Park on the street or at the beach car park.
Can we eat in the garden?
On fine days, yes, and on the veranda all year round. Ask for one of those tables when you book.
When are the music Sundays?
The last Sunday of the month, from eleven to one. The programme goes up on our Instagram, @bellesmatinees.biarritz.
Are dogs welcome?
Yes, in the garden and on the veranda; a bowl of water waits for them by the gate.
How can I pay?
By card, contactless or in cash.
Can we come as a group?
Yes: the long table seats up to sixteen, and the whole villa can open for you. See the Groups page.
Can I give a brunch as a gift?
Yes, with a gift voucher for the Belles Matinées brunch, for two or for a whole table. Ask for one by phone or e-mail and we’ll send it the same day.
Do you do takeaway?
Only pastries and gâteau basque, from the counter. Everything else is served at the table.
